State of the game


Hey!
It's been a while (For those who isn't with us in Discord at least) since the last update, so out of the blue i have decided to make a short post to talk about what's happening.


The game development is still happening, it had a minor break a while ago due some mishaps but now it's going as intended.


The next update will NOT be the v62 (the one focusing in singleplayer), instead it will be a halfway one, v61.5(I promise that i'll re-think about the versioning of VoidStrike in future) which will fix A LOT of bugs, performance issues( thanks to the Discord feedback), will bring VoidStrike's version of a lot of things from the Void Hunters(One of the game that inspired me to do this, sadly it's not playable since August 2018) and will make the game more enjoyable to play even if you can't find a team.


I can't cite everything that changed (Mostly because i lost the track of the changelogs and it would probably bore the heck of you anyway), but trust me, it's alot.

This will be a WIP when the v61.5( as it's one of the core mechanics that i have planed for the singleplayer mode) meets the public, but you'll be able to interact with the new mineable asteroids



A procedural circuit pattern that will be the trailblazer for ship customization, and also, the game GUI is being totally revamped, as you can see with the health and energy bar in the gif, and other than that you'll be able to use a lot more of style of spaceships, there will be chassis for every play style!

Itch.io limits the image size to only 3mb, which makes it hard to share more about the development, but there is a lot more of media in our Discord, so join us if you haven't yet!
