VoidStrike: The Online Space Shooter - v61 Released!


The first update for VoidStrike is now live!

Before anything else, i must point that a name change were pooled on our Discord and Twitter, and the new name is "VoidStrike: The Online Space Shooter"

This update will bring some of the fundamentals core mechanics that will be needed for future game development, i'll point the key ones:

- Background overhaul

The old background was just plain boring, it was just some dark color with some varying shades, nothing more.

The new one on the other hand... The space is really happening there, you can see asteroid belts and rogues,  star systems(some are really unique), star dust and so, there are too many things to point one by one. 

If you don't like it, or your computer can't handle, do not worry! You can disable it on configurations whenever you want!

- Save and Load your ship

Did you just designed the most op and powerful ship ever?
But now you're afraid of losing it when you leave?
No problem mate, now you can save your ship and load whenever you want it back!
You may also share it with your friends with a simple "ctrl+c" and "ctrl+v" using the "Share ship" in menu!

- New Ship chassis system

As a player i know that there are many ways of playing a game, some like to go full rage mode and shoot everything that moves, some like to design an elegant ship, some may like to protect his/her friends, and with that in mind the ship chassis system was created

Now in lobby you may select what ship cockpit you want to play with, and see it's strengths and weakness as well. You'll be also able to select it when respawning.

For now, sadly there's only two cockpits available, but there will be many more in future.
